Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 sliced Onion
  • 1 finely chopped Tomato
  • 1/2 cup Cauliflower florets
  • 5~6 chopped French beans
  • 1/4 cup fresh Peas
  • 1/4 cup chopped Carrot
  • A handful slices Cabbage (Optional)
  • 1 chopped Capsicum
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 2 tsp Red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Instructions

Step 1: Heat up oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

Step 2: When cumin seeds splutter add onion and fry until onion gets light golden color.

Step 3: When onion begins to get light golden color add tomato and fry it well for about 3-4 minutes.

Step 4: Add cauliflower, French beans, fresh peas, carrot and mix well.

Step 5: Cover and cook veggies on medium heat for about 8-10 minutes.

Step 6: If you feel veggies are sticking to the pan than add 1-2 tso water and cook again.

Step 7: Check after every 2-3 minutes. Remove the lid and mix well. Cover and cook again.

Step 8: When veggies are cooked well, add cabbage, capsicum and mix well. If you are using frozen peas then add now.

Step 9: Fry together for just 2 minutes.

Step 10: Add garam masala, red chili powder, salt and mix well.

Step 11: Cover and cook on medium heat for about 4-5 minutes.

Step 12: Add coriander leaves and mix well. Mix veg dry is all ready.

Notes

  • You can use veggies of your choice.
  • You can add fresh coconut if you want.
  • You can have it with chapatti and it goes well as side dish with rice too.
