Today’s recipe is kids’ favorite healthy smoothie. We are making 2 smoothies today, chocolate and gulkand. Today’s both smoothies are very easy to make, healthy and nutritious. Basically smoothie is a drink usually made using dry nuts, fruits or veggies along with milk or yogurt or ice cream. You can make changes in it according to your taste and choice. Ingredients

Chocolate Smoothie

  • 3~4 dry Ajneer
  • 5~6 Cashew nuts
  • Chopped Walnuts
  • 4~5 Almonds
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp unsweetened Cocoa powder
  • Chocolate syrup
  • 1 glass Milk

Gulkand Smoothie

  • 3~4 dry Ajneer
  • 5~6 Cashew nuts
  • Chopped Walnuts
  • 4~5 Almonds
  • 1 glass Milk
  • 3~4 tbsp Rose syrup

Instructions

Chocolate Smoothie

Step 1: Soak dry anjeer in enough water for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 2: Soak cashew nuts in enough water for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 3: Soak walnuts and almonds together in enough water for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 4: Blend soaked ajneer into paste first and add soaked cashew nuts, walnuts and almonds into the blender jar.

Step 5: Blend everything well together into paste.

Step 6: Add sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, chocolate syrup and milk and blend everything into puree.

Step 7: Pour some chocolate syrup along the edge of the glass and pour out the smoothie into it.

Step 8: Garnish with chocolate syrup and chocolate smoothie is ready.

Gulkand Smoothie

Step 9: Soak dry anjeer in enough water for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 10: Soak cashew nuts in enough water for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 11: Soak walnuts and almonds together in enough water for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 12: Add soaked ajneer, soaked cashew nuts, walnuts and almonds into the blender jar and blend everything well together into paste.

Step 13: Add milk and rose syrup and blend everything together into puree.

Step 14: Pour some rose syrup along the edge of the glass and pour out the smoothie into it.

Step 15: Garnish with few rose petals and gulkand smoothie is ready

 

Notes

  • You can soak dates along with anjeer if you want.
  • You can adjust the quantity of sugar according to your taste in chocolate smoothie.
  • You can use gulkand in place of rose syrup if you want in gulkand smoothie.
