Ingredients

  • 4 packets Oreo cookies
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 100 gm Paneer
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Saffron milk
  • Angoori rasgulla

Oreo rasgulla modak

 

Instructions

Oreo Base

Step 1: Break the cookies with hands and blend it into powder in food processor.

Step 2: Add milk and blend it again.

Step 3: Rest the mixture for few minutes.

Step 4: When the mixture begins to thicken up transfer the Oreo base into a dish and knead it like dough.

Step 5: Cover and keep it aside. Oreo base is ready.

Sandesh Base

Step 6: Crumble the paneer and transfer it into food processor.

Step 7: Blend it well until it turns nice and smooth like butter.

Step 8: Add sugar and blend it well together.

Step 9: Transfer the mixture into a pan and cook it on very low heat for about 5 minutes until it comes together like dough. Stir continuously while cooking.

Step 10: Turn off the gas and let it cool down completely.

Step 12: Add saffron milk and mix everything well together. Sandesh base is ready.

For Modak

Step 13: For making Oreo Sandesh modak, grease the modak mould well with ghee and fill in the Sandesh base in the upper side of the mold.

Step 14: Close the mould up and fill in Sandesh stuffing if needed.

Step 15: Press it well and fill in Oreo base into the mold.

Step 16: Press it well and open the mould.

Step 17: Take the modak out and Oreo Sandesh modak is ready.

Step 18: For making angoori rasgulla modak, squeeze out as much water as possible from angoori rasgulla.

Step 19: Grease the modak mould well with ghee and fill in the Oreo base into both sides.

Step 20: Make a cavity at the center of each side.

Step 21: Fill in the rasgulla into the cavity and close the mold up.

Step 22: Remove the excess mixture and open the mold.

Step 23: Take the modak out and angoori rasgulla modak is ready.

Notes

  • You can blend the cookies in mixer too.

This is a very easy and simple recipe. It looks nice and tastes just awesome. It can be a good variation for naivedya to Lord Ganesha and I am sure kids will love it.
