Today we are naking crunchy and crispy corn pakoda. Corn pakoda is a must recipe during monsoon. Today we are making pakoda using whole corn seed and not blending it. These turn out nice and crunchy. This can be a quick evening or tea time snack. You can serve it as starter too which I am sure will be finished within no time. These look tempting and taste just awesome. This is a very easy and simple recipe. We are using boiled corns and also not blending them. This gives different texture and taste to the pakodas. This recipe doesn’t need lot many ingredients. Ingredients

  • Boiled Corn
  • 1/2 cup Besan
  • 1/4 cup Rice flour
  • Red chili powder
  • Finely chopped Green chilies
  • 1/2 tsp Ajwain / Carom seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Finely chopped Onion
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • A pinch of Baking soda
  • A little Water
  • Oil for frying

Easy corn pakoda

Instructions

Step 1: Take corn, besan, rice flour, red chili powder, green chilies, ajwain, salt, onion, coriander leaves, baking soda and mix everything well together.

Step 2: Add a little water and mix well to make batter.

Step 3: Heat up oil on medium heat in a pan and drop pakoda in it.

Step 4: Fry pakoda well on medium to high heat from both sides.

Step 5: When pakodas are fried well take them out, drain excess oil and transfer them into a dish. Corn pakoda are all ready.

Notes

  • You can serve these pakodas with green chutney or sweet tamarind chutney or sauce too.
