Ingredients

  • 1 Kavath / Wood apple
  • 1 cup Kavath pulp
  • 1 cup Gudh / Jaggery
  • 1 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black salt to taste

Quick Kavathachi chutney

Instructions

Step 1: Break the kavath open and take out all the pulp with the help of spoon or knife.

Step 2: Mix the pulp, gudh, red chili powder, salt, black salt well together.

Step 3: Rest the mixture for about 15-20 minutes. Kavathachi chutney is all ready.

Notes

  • Remove the veins if you want. You can remove the seeds too if you don’t want.
  • You can store the chutney in freeze for about 3-4 weeks.
