Today let’s make 5 different dry sabjis. Schools have started. There is often a common question that every woman has to face every day, What’s today’s sabji? We keep on looking different options those are healthy and tasty too. We try to keep variety in daily menu so that kids and elders also won’t get bored. In tiffin or lunch box one prefers dry sabji. So here I am with 5 different dry fruit veggies those look nice and taste delicious. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me.

It doesn’t need lot many efforts and ingredients too. You can make it from the ingredients those are readily available in your pantry. These are real quick recipes. I haven’t used lot many spices. These are easy and simple recipes. For the sabji to be tasty, one doesn’t have to use onion, tomato and different spices. These sabjis are the prof.

Ingredients

Capsicum Bhaji

  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Chopped Garlic (Optional)
  • Chopped Capsicum
  • A little Salt
  • 1/2 cup Besan
  • A pinch of Turmeric powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Capsicum sabji

French Beans Bhaji

  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp grated Ginger
  • Chopped Green chilies
  • Curry leaves
  • Chopped French beans
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • Coriander powder
  • Shredded fresh Coconut
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Aloo Methi Bhaji

  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Finely chopped Garlic
  • Chopped Fenugreek leaves
  • A pinch of Salt
  • Boiled and chopped Potato
  • Garam masala
  • Coriander powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder

Flowerchi Suki Bhaji

  • Chopped Cauliflower
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Chopped Garlic
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Chopped Green chili
  • Finely chopped Onion
  • Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Goda masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Water
  • Frozen Peas
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Flower chi suki bhaji

Kobichi Bhaji

  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Sliced Onion
  • Sliced Tomato
  • Finely shredded Cabbage
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • Coriander powder
  • Red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Frozen Peas
  • Finley chopped Coriander leaves

Instructions

Capsicum Bhaji

Step 1: Heat up oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

Step 2: When cumin seeds splutter, add garlic and fry well.

Step 3: Add capsicum and fry well.

Step 4: Add salt and mix well.

Step 5: Cover steam the bhaji for just about 5 minutes.

Step 6: Add besan, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and red chili powder and mix well.

Step 7: Cover and cook bhaji on low heat for about 10 minutes.

Step 8: After every 2-3 minutes remove the lid and mix the bhaji well. 

Step 9: Again cover and cook bhaji for another 2-3 minutes. Repeat this process until  bhaji is cooked well for about 10 minutes.

Step 10: Add coriander leaves and mix well. Capsicum bhaji is ready.

French Beans Bhaji

Step 11: Heat up oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.

Step 12: Add ginger, green chilies, curry leaves and mix well.

Step 13: Add French beans, salt and mix well.

Step 14: Cover and steam bhaji on low heat for about 10-12 minutes.

Step 15: After cooking for about 2-3 minutes, remove the lid and mix bhaji well.

Step 16: Again cover and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Repeat the process until bhaji is cooked well.

Step 17: When bhaji is cooked well add garam masala, coriander powder and mix well.

Step 18: Add fresh coconut, coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 19: Turn off the gas and French beans bhaji is ready.

Aloo Methi Bhaji

Step 20: Heat up oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

Step 21: When cumin seeds splutter, add garlic and fry well.

Step 22: Add fenugreek leaves and mix well. Fry well for about 3-4 minutes.

Step 23: Add salt and mix well.

Step 24: When fenugreek is almost cooked add boiled potato, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder and mix everything well together.

Step 25: Cover and steam bhaji on low heat for about 7-8 minutes.

Step 26: Remove the lid and mix well once. Aloo methi is ready.

Flowerchi Suki Bhaji

Step 27: Mix cauliflower, turmeric powder and salt well together and soak it in water.

Step 28: Heat up oil in a pan and add garlic.

Step 29: Fry well until garlic gets light golden color.

Step 30: Add cumin seeds, green chili and mix well.

Step 31: Add onion and fry well until onion gets golden color.

Step 32: When onion begins to turn light golden, add coriander powder, red chili powder, goda masala and mix well.

Step 33: Add cauliflower, salt and mix well. Add water.

Step 34: Cover and steam the bhaji well.

Step 35: After cooking for about 1-2 minutes, remove the lid and mix the bhaji well once. Cover and cook again.

Step 36: Repeat this process after every 3-4 minutes until bhaji is cooked well for about 10 minutes.

Step 37: Add frozen peas and mix well.

Step 38: Add coriander leaves and mix well. Flowerchi suki bhaji is ready.

Kobichi Bhaji

Step 39: Heat up oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

Step 40: When cumin seeds splutter, add onion and fry until it gets light golden color.

Step 41: When onion begins to turn light golden add tomato and fry together for about 3-4 minutes.

Step 42: Add cabbage and mix well.

Step 43: Fry it together for about 7-8 minutes.

Step 44: When kobi is almost cooked, add turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, red chili powder and salt and mix well.

Step 45: Fry it together for another 3-4 minutes.

Step 46: Add frozen peas and mix well.

Step 47: Add coriander leaves and mix well. Kobichi bhaji is ready.

French beans sabji

Notes

  • Adding garlic in capsicum bhaji is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
  • You can add green chilies in tadka in capsicum bhaji if you don’t want to use red chili powder.
  • You can add roasted peanut powder or tomato or potato or matar in flowerchi bhaji if you want.

This is a very simple yet delicious recipes. You can make them in a jiffy. Though we haven’t used different spices these taste yummy. You can pack them in lunch box or make them any other time too.
