Konkani Breakfast Recipe

Thikasaniche maskat is a Konkani breakfast recipe. This is a very easy and simple recipe. It is made from wheat flour. It gets nice net and turns out crispy. Ingredients

  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Carom seeds / Ajwain
  • Finely chopped Green chili
  • 2 tsp shredded fresh Coconut
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • Oil

Instructions

Step 1: In a bowl take wheat flour, cumin seeds, ajwain, green chili, fresh coconut, turmeric powder and salt and mix everything well together.

Step 2: Add a little water at a time to make a little runny batter like dosa batter. Step 3: No lumps of wheat flour should be formed.


Step 4: Add coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 5: Heat up a pan on medium heat and spread oil on it.

Step 6: Mix the batter well once transfer on the pan.

Step 7: Spread it little and roast until lower side gets nice golden color.

Step 8: When lower side gets nice golden color spread a little oil on upper side and flip maskat over carefully.

Step 9: When lower side also gets nice golden color, transfer the masakt into a dish.

Step 10: Thiksaniche maskat is all ready.

Step 11: You can serve maskat with coconut chutney.

 

Notes

You can serve the roasted Thiksaniche Mitsaniche Maskat with coconut chutney.

I have created a new recipe andbita a sauce. With which we can make many dishes. It’s as good as a mother sauce. For your information,it’s made out of Moringa Oleifera along with few prime ingredients. I would like to share my recipe for the World as it’s as good as the World famous Pesto and good for all ages as Moringa is very healthy.
