Ingredients

  • 2~3 sliced Onions
  • 3 chopped Tomatoes
  • 7~8 Cashew nuts
  • 3~4 tsp Govind Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
  • A little Water
  • Salt to taste
  • 250 gm Govind Paneer
  • 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp fresh Cream

Easy shahi paneer

Instructions

Step 1: For making masala heat up a pan on medium heat and add onions, tomatoes, cashew nuts.

Step 2: Mix well, cover and cook until everything is cooked well for about 7-8 minutes.

Step 3: Turn off the gas and let the mixture cool down.

Step 4: Transfer the mixture into a blender jar and blend it into paste.

Step 5: Do not use water while blending. Masala or vatan is ready.

Step 6: Heat up a pan on medium heat.

Step 7: Add Govind butter and strain the blended masala into it.

Step 8: Mix well and fry well for about 3-4 minutes.

Step 9: Add garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, red chili powder and fry everything well together for about 5-6 minutes.

Step 10: When oil begins to release from the masala add water to adjust the consistency and mix well.

Step 11: Add salt and simmer gravy for about 6-7 minutes.

Step 12: Add Govind paneer and mix well.

Step 13: Add kasuri methi and mix well.

Step 14: Cook for just 3-4 minutes more after adding paneer.

Step 15: Add fresh cream and mix well.

Step 16: Turn off the gas and shahi paneer is all ready.

Notes

  • You can use homemade malai in place of fresh cream.
  • You can serve it with naan, roti or paratha.
