Ingredients

Amabt God Amti

  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • A pinch of Hing
  • 2~3 chopped Green chilies
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Hot Water as needed
  • 1 tbsp Goda masala
  • 1 tbsp Red chili powder
  • Tamarind pulp
  • Jaggery to taste
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh Coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Fondniche Varan

  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • A pinch of Hing
  • 2~3 chopped Green chilies
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Finely chopped Onion
  • Finely chopped Tomato
  • 1/2 tsp crushed Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Goda masala
  • 2 tbsp grated dry Coconut
  • 1 cup cooked Turdal
  • Hot Water as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Turichya Daliche Saar

  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • A pinch of Hing
  • 2 dry Red chilies
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Slit Green chili
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • A pinch of Turmeric powder
  • 1~2 tbsp grated fresh Coconut
  • 1 cup cooked Turdal
  • 2 Kokum petals
  • Jaggery to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Turichya Daliche Saar

Instructions

Amabt God Amti

Step 1: Heat up oil on medium heat in a pan and mustard seeds.

Step 2: When mustard seeds pop up, add cumin seeds, hing, green chilies, fenugreek seeds and curry leaves and mix well.

Step 3: Add goda masala, red chili powder, tamarind pulp and jaggery and mix well.

Step 4: Add coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 5: Simmer the amti on medium for about 5 minutes. Amti is ready.

Fodniche Varan

Step 6: Heat up oil on medium heat in a pan and mustard seeds.

Step 7: When mustard seeds pop up, add cumin seeds, hing, green chilies, fenugreek seeds and curry leaves and mix well.

Step 8: Add onion and fry well until it gets light golden color.

Step 9: Add tomato and garlic and fry well.

Step 10: Add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, goda masala and mix well.

Step 11: Add dry coconut, cooked dal and hot water and mix everything well together.

Step 12: Add salt and coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 13: Simmer the varan on medium heat for about 5 minutes and fodniche varan is ready.

Turichya Daliche Saar

Step 14: Heat up oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.

Step 15: When mustard seeds pop up, add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves, dry red chilies, green chili, coriander powder, cumin powder and turmeric powder and mix everything well together.

Step 16: Add fresh coconut and mix well. 

Step 17: Add cooked turdal, hot water, kokum petals, jaggery, salt and coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 18: Simmer the saar on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes and turichya daliche saar is ready.

Notes

  • You can serve amti with rice or have it as it is as soup.
  • You can use fresh coconut in place of dry one in fodniche varan.
  • you can have turichya daliche saar as it is as soup or serve with hot steamed rice.
