Ingredients

  • 500 ml Water
  • 1/4 cup / 20 gm Tea powder
  • 3 tbsp / 38 gm Sugar
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 1/4 cup / 25 gm Milk powder
  • 1/4 cup / 50 gm Sugar

Instructions

Step 1: Heat up water in a pan and add tea powder and sugar. Mix well.

Step 2: Cover and simmer the mixture on medium heat for at least 10 minutes. We need tea concoction.

Step 3: In another pan mix milk, milk powder and sugar well together.

Step 4: Heat up milk on medium heat and bring it to boil.

Step 5: When the milk begins to boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes.

Step 6: While serving, pour hot, boiling milk into a cup and strain the concoction in it. Mix well and serve.

Notes

  • You can place a weight on the lid if you want while making concoction.
  • Serve Hyderabadi dum tea as it it or with some pakoras or with bun maska or nankatai.
