Today’s recipe is bina pakache tilache ladoo. Bina pakache means without making jaggery syrup. While making til ladoo, every one faces two problems. One is making jaggery syrup and another is rolling hot mixture into ladoos. Today, we will overcome both of your problems and make soft and delicious ladoos. This is a very easy and simple recipe. These turn out nice, soft and crispy and remain so until you finish!! These look tempting and taste just awesome. While Celebrating Makar Sankrant, people give these ladu or vadya to each pther and saly, “tilgul ghya aani god bola.” Try this recipe at home and write to me.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup / 100 gm Jaggery
  • 1 cup / 150 gm white Sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup / 75 gm Peanuts
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  • A pinch of Nutmeg powder

Tilgul ladoo recipe

Instructions

Step 1: Heat up water in a pan and place a stand in it.

Step 2: Place an empty pot on the stand and pour the jaggery into it.

Step 3: Boil the water until jaggery melts or turns nice and soft.

Step 4: Heat up a pan on medium heat and add sesame seeds.

Step 5: Roast sesame seeds on low heat until they get light golden color and take them out into a dish.

Step 6: Heat up a pan on medium heat and add peanuts.

Step 7: Roast peanuts on low heat until they get nice reddish color and take them out into a dish.

Step 8: Peel the peanuts once they cool down and remove the skin.

Step 9: Blend the peanuts into coarse powder in mixer and add sesame seeds.

Step 10: Blend it well together into coarse powder.

Step 11: Add the jaggery and blend it together into homogenous mixture.

Step 12: Transfer the mixture into a kadhai and roast it well together on low heat for just about 5 minutes.

Step 13: When jaggery begins to melt, add water and mix well.

Step 14: Cook it well until the mixture comes together like dough.

Step 15: Turn the gas off and add few leftover roasted sesame seeds.

Step 16: Mix everything well together.

Step 17: Add cardamom powder and nutmeg powder and mix well.

Step 18: Take the mixture out into a dish and roll ladoos from it. Tilache ladoo are ready.

  • You can make 30 medium size ladoos from the ingredients used.

This is one of the easiest tilgul recipes. these ladoos turn out nice, soft and crispy. You don’t need to make jaggery syrup. Store these ladoos in an airtight container and serve on Makar Sankranti.
