Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 finely chopped Onion
  • 1 finely chopped Tomato
  • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Besan
  • Water as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 chopped Capsicum
  • 200 gm grated Paneer
  • 1 tbsp Butter (Optional)
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Instructions

Step 1: Heat up oil in a pan and add onion.

Step 2: Fry well until onion gets nice golden color.

Step 3: When onion begins to turn light golden, add tomato and fry until onion and tomato is cooked well for another 5-6 minutes.

Step 4: Add ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder and mix well.

Step 5: Move the masala along the edge of the pan and add besan in the remaining space.

Step 6: Roast besan for about a minute and mix it with the masala.

Step 7: Add water and mix well.

Step 8: Add salt and mix well.

Step 9: Add capsicum and cook it for about 3-4 minutes.

Step 10: Add paneer and mix well.

Step 11: Add butter, coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 12: Simmer the sabzi for about 3-4 minutes. Paneer ghotala is ready.

Step 13: Heat up a pan on medium heat and add butter.

Step 14: Roast the ladi pav a little from both sides on the skillet.

Step 15: When the ladi pav is almost roasted sprinkle red chili powder, finely chopped coriander leaves and roast it again. 

Step 16: Take the pav off into a dish and serve them with paneer ghotala. Serve onion slices and a slice of lemon along with it.

Notes

  • You can have paneer ghotala with naan or roti or paratha.
