Ingredients

Paneer Stuffing

  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 2 finely chopped Onions
  • 1 finely chopped Tomato
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • A little Water
  • 250 gm Paneer cubes
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Paneer Wrap

    • Chapati
    • Mayonnaise
    • Tomato sauce
    • Chopped Tomato
    • Chopped Capsicum
    • Oil

Easy paneer wrap

Instructions

Paneer Stuffing

Step 1: Heat up oil in a pan and add onion.

Step 2: Fry on medium heat until onion gets light golden color.

Step 3: When onion begins to turn light golden add tomato and fry together for about 3-4 minutes.

Step 4: Add garam masala, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt and mix well.

Step 5: Add water and fry well.

Step 7: Add paneer, coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 8: Cover and steam for just 3-4 minutes.

Step 9: Turn off the gas and paneer stuffing is ready.

Paneer Wrap

Step 10: Take chapatti and give it a cut from center to an edge of it.

Step 11: Spread mayonnaise mayonnaise and tomato sauce on 1st quarter.

Step 12: Spread paneer stuffing on next quarter.

Step 13: Spread tomato, capsicum, on next quarter.

Step 14: On the last quarter spread mayonnaise and tomato sauce.

Step 15: Lift the 1st quarter and fold it on paneer stuffing.

Step 16: Lift this half portion and fold it on veggies.

Step 17: Close the wrap with last mayonnaise quarter.

Step 18: Heat up a pan on medium heat and spread a little oil.

Step 19: Place the wrap on the pan and roast it well until it turns crunchy from both sides.

Step 20: When lower side is roasted well spread oil on upper part and flip the wrap over.

Step 21: When the wrap is roasted well from both sides spread a little oil along the edge of the wrap and roast it well.

Step 22: Take the wrap off on a jali or cooling rack. Paneer wrap is all ready.

Notes

  • You can add more veggies like spinach, capsicum, carrot etc in the paneer stuffing.
  • You can use combinations of your choice like chili sauce or mustard sauce or sweet tamarind chutney or green chutney while making the wrap.
  • You can use veggies of your choice like onion, lettuce, cabbage, grated carrot, corn etc. Or you can skip the veggies too while making the wrap.
  • You can use cheese if you want for making the wrap.
  • You can have the wrap without roasting too.
  • When the wrap cools down completely you can pack it in the lunch box.
