Ingredients

  • 3 medium size boiled, peeled Potatoes
  • 50 gm Paneer
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • Boiled Corn
  • Finely chopped Tomato
  • Finely chopped Capsicum
  • Chili flakes
  • Mixed herbs
  • Salt to taste
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • Black pepper powder
  • 2~3 tsp Corn flour
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Corn flour
  • 1/4 cup Maida
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder (Optional)
  • Water
  • Oil for frying

Quick cheese balls

Instructions

Step 1: Mash the potatoes and grate paneer in it.

Step 2: Add garlic paste, corn, tomato, capsicum, chili flakes, mixed herbs, salt, coriander leaves, black pepper powder, corn flour and mix well to make dough.

Step 3: Take a small portion from the dough and roll it into a ball.

Step 4: Make small disc and stuff cheese in it.

Step 5: Roll it into a ball again and seal well.

Step 6: Take corn flour, maida, salt, black pepper powder in a bowl and mix well.

Step 7: Add water to make thick slurry.

Step 8: Drop cheese balls into the slurry and coat well.

Step 9: Transfer these cheese balls into bread crumbs and coat well. 

Step 10: Transfer the cheese balls into freeze to set for about an hour.

Step 11: Heat up oil and drop the cheese balls into it.

Step 12: Fry cheese balls well on medium to high heat.

Step 13: When cheese balls get nice golden color from all sides take them out, drain excess oil and transfer into a dish. Cheese balls are all ready.

Notes

  • You can use garlic powder in place of garlic paste.
  • You can use different colored capsicum.
  • You can use processed cheese in place of Mozzarella cheese.
  • You can use processed cheese in place of Mozzarella cheese.
  • You can use arrowroot in place of corn flour for making slurry.
  • Adding black pepper powder in slurry is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
  • You can double coat the cheese balls if you want super crispy cheese balls.
  • You can have them as it is or with some mayonnaise dip.
