Ingredients

  • 2 green Cucumber / Tawsa
  • 1 cup fine Rava / Suji
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp Green chili paste
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp grated fresh Coconut (Optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • OilEasy kakdichi bhakri

Instructions

Step 1: Wash cucumber well and cut off stem portion.

Step 2: Grate cucumber into a bowl. You can peel it if you want.

Step 3: Add rava, coriander leaves, green chili paste, cumin seeds, fresh coconut, salt and mix everything well together to make batter.

Step 4: No need to add water. The batter should have spreadable consistency.

Step 5: Heat up a pan on medium heat and grease it well with oil. Use a little more oil so that the bhakri will be nice and crispy.

Step 6: Add batter on the pan and spread it with hand like thalipeeth. Make as thin bhakri as possible.

Step 7: You can do this process on cold pan too.

Step 8: Cover and roast on medium heat until lower side is cooked well for about 3-4 minutes.

Step 9: Remove the lid and flip the bhakri over.

Step 10: When the bhakri is roasted well from other side too take it off on a jali. Kakdichi bhakri is all ready.

Step 11: You can have it with chutney or pickle or as it is.

 

Notes

  • You can peel cucumber if you want.
  • You can use coarse rava too.
  • Adding fresh coconut is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
  • If you are going to have bhakri immediately, then you can transfer in into a dish.
  • If you want to pack this for your kids’ lunch box then make small bhakri so that it will be easier to pack and kids can have it easily.
