Cafe Style Cheesy Garlic Bread

This garlic bread turns out perfectly like the one that we get in a cafe. It needs very few ingredients. We are making it in kadhai and not in oven. We are not using yeast too!! It gets nice color, texture and turns out nice, cheesy. Kids will surely love this cheesy garlic bread. Summer vacations are going to start. Kids always demand something different. Ingredients

For Stuffing

  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
  • Finely chopped Capsicum
  • Finely chopped deseeded Tomato
  • Boiled Corn
  • Paneer cubes (Optional)
  • Chili flakes
  • Mixed herbs
  • Pinch of Salt

For Garlic Butter

  • 4 tsp Butter
  • Black pepper powder
  • Grated Garlic
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • A pinch of Salt

For Garlic Bread

  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups Maida
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • Oil

Instructions

For Stuffing

Step 1: Take mozzarella cheese in a bowl and add black pepper powder, capsicum, deseeded tomato, corn, paneer, chili flakes, mixed herbs, salt, coriander leaves.

Step 2: Mix everything well together and stuffing is ready.

For Garlic Butter

Step 3: Take butter that is at room temperature in a bowl and add black pepper powder, garlic, coriander leaves, salt.

Step 4: Mix everything well together and garlic butter is ready.

For Garlic Bread

Step 5: Take curd, water in a bowl and mix well.

Step 6: Add baking powder, salt and mix well.

Step 7: Add maida and mix in quickly.

Step 8: Knead the dough well.

Step 9: Add oil and knead it really good again.

Step 10: Divide the dough into 2 portions.

Step 11: Sprinkle dry flour on rolling board and roll one portion into a disc.

Step 12: Spread garlic butter on it and fill stuffing.

Step 13: Lift one edge and close the bread. Seal the edges well.

Step 14: Give few cuts like garlic bread on it.

Step 15: Spread oil on it and transfer it into a baking tray that is lined up with wax paper.

Step 16: Sprinkle chili flakes, mixed herbs on it.

Step 17: Transfer the tray into a kadhai and cover it.

Step 18: Bake the garlic bread on medium to high heat for about 30-35 minutes.

Step 19: Turn off the gas and let the bread be in the kadhai for another 10 minutes.

Step 20: Remove the lid and check.

Step 21: Spread garlic butter on it and serve them hot.

Notes

  • Adding paneer in stuffing is optional. You can skip it of you don’t want.
  • You can use basil or parsley in place of coriander leaves.
  • You can skip coriander leaves.
  • You can add mayonnaise in stuffing if you want.
  • You can decide the ingredients and their quantity in the stuffing according to your taste.
  • You can use garlic powder in place of grated garlic in garlic butter.
  • You can add 1 tsp sugar in bread dough if you want.
  • Sprinkling chili flakes and mixed herbs on bread before baking is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
  • You can keep the stuffed bread ready and bake whenever needed.
  • You can have it as it is or with some mayonnaise dip.
