Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Onion
  • 1/4 cup Green Capsicum
  • 1/4 cup Yellow Capsicum
  • 1/4 cup Red Capsicum
  • 1/2 tsp crushed Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Chili flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp Mixed herbs
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 4 tbsp / 30 grams Butter
  • 1/2 cup Finely chopped Onion
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp Mixed herbs
  • 1/2 tsp Chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp Maida / All purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 ~ 2 cups Milk
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cream
  • Water
  • Salt to taste
  • Penne pasta
  • Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Heat up olive oil in a pan. You can use butter instead of olive oil.
  • Add onion, red, yellow and green capsicum.
  • Mix well and fry for just about 3-4 minutes.
  • Do not overcook the veggies. Veggies should retain their crunch.
  • Add garlic, chili flakes, black pepper powder, mixed herbs and mix well.
  • Add salt and mix well.
  • Turn off the gas and veggies are ready.
  • Heat up a pan on medium heat and add butter.
  • Add onion, crushed garlic and mix well.
  • Fry until onion turns soft for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add black pepper powder, mixed herbs, chili flakes and mix well.
  • Add maida and mix well. Fry for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add milk and mix well. No lumps of maida should be formed.
  • Add salt to taste and mix well.
  • Cook for about 5-6 minutes after adding milk.
  • Add fresh cream and mix well.
  • You can use homemade malai in place of fresh cream.
  • Blend the malai in mixer and add it in sauce.
  • Sauce is ready.
  • Heat up water and bring it to boil.
  • Add salt and penne pasta. Cook it well.
  • Take the cooked pasta out of the water, drain all the water and transfer it into the sauce.
  • Add cooked veggies, mozzarella cheese and mix well.
  • Cook the pasta for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Do not cook the pasta before hand. It dries and loses its juiciness.
  • Cook veggies, make sauce and then cook pasta and add it in the sauce.
  • White sauce pasta is already.
  • You can have pasta as it is.
  • It goes fantastic with garlic bread.
