Ingredients
- 1 Potato
- 1 med size Lauki or Bottle Gourd
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tap Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- pinch of hing
- 5 to 6 Curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 slit Green Chillies
- 1 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Peel lauki as well as potato and cut into bite-sized cubes.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, pinch of hing, curry leaves, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute till raw smell from ginger-garlic goes away.
- Add tomatoes and cook for two minutes.
- Add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chill powder, green chillies, mix and again cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add chopped potatoes and lauki, mix, sprinkle some salt, add some water, cover and pressure cook until 1 whistle.
- Garnish with some garam masala and chopped coriander leaves.
