Crunchy Chicken Rava Fry

Chicken rava fry is a very delicious and easy recipe. For frying chicken more oil is needed and then the remaining oil is wasted. But today we are making chicken rava fry that needs less oil. We are frying the chicken on a skillet that too using minimum oil similar to fish rava fry. The chicken turns out nice, crunchy and yummy. This is a real quick recipe. You can try this recipe at home

Ingredients

  • Skinless, boneless Chicken
  • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • Sunday garam masala
  • Red chili powder
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Fine Rava / Sooji
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • Oil for shallow frying

Crunchy chicken rava fry

Instructions

Step 1: Wash chicken really good and cut it into long strips.

Step 2: Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt, coriander powder, Sunday garam masala, red chili powder, coriander leaves, lemon juice and mix everything well together.

Step 3: Cover and rest the chicken to marinate for at least 1 hour.

Step 4: Take rava, salt, red chili powder in a dish and mix well.

Step 5: Coat marinated chicken well with rava mixture and keep them aside.

Step 6: Heat up oil in a pan and transfer the chicken pieces in it for shallow frying.

Step 7: While transferring the chicken for shallow frying, make sure to place thick chicken piece at the center of the pan and thin pieces along the edge.

Step 8: Fry well on medium heat until lower side is done well.

Step 9: Flip over and fry well from other side too.

Step 10: When chicken is fried well from both sides, take it out into a dish.

Step 11: Chicken rava fry is all ready.

Step 12: You can have it as it is or with mayonnaise dipping too.

Notes

  • You can use 1 tsp curd in place of lemon juice.
  • The chicken will taste better if you marinate it overnight.

This is a very easy and simple recipe. It turns out nice and crunchy. We are making this on tawa or skillet. You can serve it as it is or with mayonnaise dipping. It looks nice and tastes yummy.
