Delicious and Quick 4 Types Sweets

Delicious and quick 4 types of sweets are simple and easy to make. These are kaju katli, anjeer roll, paan burfi and chocolate pedha or ladoo. You just have to mix the ingredients and the sweets are ready. These turn out perfectly like the one that we get in Mithai shop. These are life savoir if you have no mithai left with you or you have surprise guests. You can try this recipe at home.

Ingredients

For Kaju Katli

  • 1 1/2 cup Cashew nut powder
  • 1 cup Icing sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk powder
  • 1 drop Rose essence / Rose water
  • 2 tsp Water
  • Silver work (Optional)

Easy Kaju Katli

For Paan Burfi

  • Finely chopped Cashew nuts
  • Finely chopped Almonds
  • Tutti frutti
  • Roasted Fennel seeds
  • Badishep golya
  • 1 tsp Gulkand
  • 1 cup Desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup Milk powder
  • 4 tsp Khas syrup
  • Sliver work
  • Cherry

Quick Paan Burfi

For Paneer Chocolate Balls

  • 250 grams Paneer
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk powder
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened Cocoa powder
  • Sliver work (Optional)

Quick Paneer Chocolate Balls

For Anjeer Dry Fruits Rolls

  • Finely chopped Cashew nuts
  • Finely chopped Almonds
  • Sliced Pistachios
  • 1 tsp Gulkand
  • 12 dry Anjeer
  • 12 Dated
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • Poppy seeds (Optipnal)

Instructions

For Kaju Katli

Step 1: In a bowl take cashew nut powder, icing sugar, milk powder and mix everything well together. 

Step 2: Take rose essence in a bowl and add water.

Step 3: Add the mixture into the dry mixture and mix well to make dough. Add a little water at a time. 

Step 4: Transfer the dough on a butter paper and smooth it.

Step 5: Garnish with silver work and cut burfi into the size and shape you want.

Step 6: Kaji katli is all ready.

Quick Kaju Katli

For Paan Burfi

Step 1: For making stuffing for paan burfi take cashew nuts, almonds, tutti frutti, fennel seeds, badishep golya, gulkand and mix well. Stuffing is ready.

Step 2: For making cover take desiccated coconut, milk powder and mix well.

Step 3: Add a little khas syrup at a time and mix well.

Step 4: When the mixture comes together like dough take small portion and roll it into ladoo.

Step 5: Make a small disc like we make dor modak or puran poli and fill stiffing into it.

Step 6: Close it up and roll ladoo again.

Step 7: Press it a little and roll into triangular shape like paan.

Step 8: Garnish with sliver work and cherry and press it a little. Paan burfi is ready.

Easy Paan Burfi

For Paneer Chocolate Balls

Step 1: Crush paneer into chunks and transfer into a blender jar.

Step 2: Add powdered sugar, milk powder, unsweetened cocoa powder and blend everything together.

Step 3: Transfer the mixture into a dish and roll ladoos from it. You can roll pedhas or make burfi also from the mixture.

Step 4: Garnish with sliver work and paneer chocolate balls are all ready.

Easy Paneer Chocolate Balls

For Anjeer Dry Fruit Rolls

Step 1: In a dish take cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios, gulkand in a dish and mix everything well together to make stuffing.

Sep 2: Soak dry anjeer for about 30 minutes in water.

Step 3: Transfer the soaked anjeer, dates into blender jar and blend together into smooth paste. 

Step 4: Heat up ghee in a pan and add ghee.

Step 5: Add the blended mixture and fry well for about 5-6 minutes on medium heat.

Step 6: When the mixture comes together like dough turn off the gas and let the mixture cook down completely.

Step 7: Transfer the mixture on a butter paper and spread it well into a rectangle along a side of the butter paper.

Step 8: Spread the stuffing on it and press it.

Step 9: Lift the butter paper from one side and close the edges into a roll.

Step 10: Smooth out the roll well with the help of butter paper.

Step 11: Spread poppy seeds on the roll and roll it again to spread poppy seeds evenly all over.

Step 12: Wrap the roll as tight as possible into the butter paper and transfer it into freeze for about 2-3 hours to set.

Step 13: Take the roll out and cut into pieces. Ajneer dry fruit roll is all ready.

Notes

  • For making cashew nut powder freeze 1 1/4 cup cashew nuts in freeze and pulse in mixer to make powder. Do not blend continuously. Strain the powder once.
  • You can use a dish greased well with ghee in place of butter paper for making kaju katli.
  • Silver work is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
  • You can use very fine powdered sugar in place of icing sugar. Sieve it through sooji strainer.
  • You can cook the paneer chocolate balls mixture on low heat for just 5 minutes if you want.
  • You can store these balls in freeze for about 3-4 days. 
  • You can roast dry fruits a little if you want for making anjeer dry fruits rolls
  • You can blend dry anjeer and dates together and use that mixture. In that case you can skip the step of cooking.
  • You can use plastic sheer of aluminium foil in place of butter paper for making anjeer dry dry fruits rolls.
  • Poppy seeds are optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.

These look perfectly like the ones those we get in any sweet mart. Very easy to make, quick and savior in case of surprise guests or you are falling of sweets. These can be made in jiffy.
