  • 1 Garlic clove
  • A piece of Ginger chopped
  • Green chillies to taste
  • Sugar to taste (Optional)

  • Curry leaves

Instructions

For Making Chutney:

  • Take fresh coconut into a blender jar.
  • Add dal that we use to make chivda. If you don’t have dal then use chana dal soaked for about 3-4 hours.
  • Add garlic clove, chopped ginger, green chillies to taste, sugar (Optional) and salt.
  • Blend dry ingredients first for about a minute.
  • Mix well and add water. Blend it again.
  • You can add more water to adjust the consistency.
  • Take out the chutney into a bowl.

For Tadka:

  • Heat up oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing, urad dal, curry leaves and dries red chillies.
  • Cover it.
  • When the tadka is cooled down, add it to chutney and mix well.
  • Olya khobaryachi chutney is already.
  • You can serve this with idly, dosa, ghavane or amboli too.
