Ingredients

For Banana Pancakes:

  • 1 Banana
  • 2 tsp Powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • A pinch of Salt
  • A Pinch of Nut meg powder
  • 1 cup Maida
  • 1 tsp Baking powder

For Orange Pancakes:

  • 3/4 cup and 3 tsp Orange juice
  • 1 cup Maida
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 2 tsp Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 tsp Butter at room temperature

For Oats Pancakes:

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup Fine suji
  • Finely chopped Carrot
  • Finely chopped Red capsicum
  • Finley chopped Yellow capsicum
  • Finely chopped Green capsicum
  • Finely chopped Spring onion

For Potato Pancake:

  • 3 medium size Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped Onion
  • Spring onion
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Mixed herbs
  • 1 tsp Corn flour

Instructions

For Banana Pancakes:

  • Take ripen banana and shred it. You can mash the banana with masher too.
  • Add powdered sugar. You can skip the sugar if you don’t want.
  • Add butter. You can add oil instead of butter.
  • Add milk, a pinch of salt and mix well. You can add water instead of milk.
  • Add nut meg powder. You can add cardamom powder or cinnamon powder instead of nut meg powder.
  • Sieve maida and baking powder into the mixture. Mix well.
  • Add some more milk to adjust the consistency.
  • Try not to over mix the pancake batter.
  • Heat up a pan on low to medium heat.
  • Add a little butter and spread it well.
  • Wipe it out with a tissue paper so that the pancake base gets nice, even golden color.
  • Add batter on the pan.
  • Try to cook pancakes on low to medium heat as these may burn quickly.
  • After roasting for about 3-4 minutes from one side flip the pancakes over.
  • Cook a little from other side too.
  • Take the pancakes off the pan and banana pancakes are already.

For Orange Pancakes:

  • In a bowl take orange juice.
  • You can use either store bought orange juice or homemade one.
  • Add maida, salt, powdered sugar, baking soda, butter and mix well.
  • You can use 1/2 maida & 1/2 wheat flour or oats too or combination of your choice.
  • The consistency of batter should neither too thick nor too thin.
  • Heat up pan on low to medium heat.
  • Add a little butter and spread it well with tissue paper.
  • Spread batter on the pan.
  • After cooking the pancake for about 3-4 minutes from one side flip them over.
  • Cook well from other side and take them off the pan.
  • Orange pancakes are already.

For Oats Pancakes:

  • Take oats into a blender jar and blend them into powder.
  • You can use whole oats too.
  • You can use wheat flour, nachani flour or jawar flour instead of oats. If you use jawar flour then you will have to add rice flour in it.
  • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, fine suji and mix well.
  • You can add chopped green chili if you want.
  • Suji gives nice crisp to the pancakes.
  • Add a little water at a time and make batter.
  • Add finely chopped carrot, red, yellow, green capsicum, spring onion and mix well.
  • Heat up a pan on medium heat.
  • Add a little oil and spread it well.
  • Wipe the oil with tissue paper.
  • Add the batter on the pan and spread it well.
  • Add a little oil on the pancake.
  • After roasting the pancake well from one side flip it over.
  • Roast it well from other side and take it off the pan.
  • Oats pancake is already.

For Potato Pancake:

  • Peel the potatoes and shred them well.
  • Squeeze out as much moisture as possible from the potatoes.
  • Spread the potato well into a dish.
  • Add onion and spring onion.
  • You can add coriander leaves or any shredded veggie of your choice like carrot, cabbage.
  • If you use cabbage the squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
  • Add chili flakes, garlic powder, salt, black pepper powder, mixed herbs and mix well.
  • Add corn flour for binding and mix well.
  • You can use 1 egg or maida or blend rice in blender and use it in place of corn flour.
  • Heat up a pan on medium heat.
  • Spread oil on it. No need to wipe out this oil as more the oil crispier the pancake.
  • Spread the pancake mixture on the pan.
  • Cover and cook for about 2 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and cook for another 2 minutes more from one side.
  • Flip it over and cook form other side for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Potato pancake is already.
