Nachani che ladoo is a very easy & simple recipe. Nachani is ragi or finger millet which is healthy & nutritious as it contains lot of fibres, iron & it is calcium rich. Ingredients

  • 2 cups Nachani / Ragi flour
  • 1/2 cup Ghee
  • 3/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 3 tsp Dry nuts (Chopped almonds, cashew nuts & pistachios)
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder

Instructions

  • Blend the sugar very fine & sieve it through suji strainer once.
  • Heat up a pa on medium heat. Add ghee & nachani flour.
  • Mix well and roast on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes.
  • Stir continuously while roasting.
  • When the flour begins to release ghee, turn off the gas.
  • Transfer the roasted flour into a dish & let it cool down a little.
  • The flour should neither too hot or too cold. It should be warm.
  • Add powdered sugar, dry nuts & cardamom powder.
  • Mix well & roll ladoos. Nachaniche ladoo are already.
  • You can store nachani che ladoo in air tight container for about a month.
  • You can make 12-13 medium size ladoos from 2 cups nachani flour.
