Triple layered sandwich

Sandwich is all time favourite of kids. We are using cheese in this recipe and making this sandwich on the skillet. You don’t need oven for his. Though we are making it on the skillet it turns out nice, crispy and cheesy. Kids will definitely love this sandwich. You can try this recipe at home

Ingredients

  • 3 tsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Chili sauce
  • Mixed herbs
  • Black Pepper powder
  • 1/4 cup boiled Corn
  • Finely chopped Capsicum
  • Finely chopped Tomato
  • 1 tbsp Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • Finely chopped Onion
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • Finely chopped Tomato
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • Red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar (Optional)
  • A little Water
  • 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • 2~3 tsp Fresh cream
  • Paneer cubes
  • Bread slices
  • Butter
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Mixed herbs

Cheesy Triple Layer Sandwich

 

Instructions

Step 1: In a bowl take mayonnaise, chili sauce, mixed herbs, black popper powder and mix everything well together.

Step 2: Add boiled corn, capsicum, tomato and mix well.

Step 3: Add mozzarella cheese and mix well.

Step 4: Heat up oil in a pan and add onion.

Step 5: Fry onion until it gets nice golden color.

Step 6: Add butter, tomato and fry until tomato is cooked nice and soft.

Step 7: Add garam masala, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, sugar and mix well.

Step 8: Add a little water to adjust the consistency and cook for about 3-4 minutes.

Step 9: Add kasuri methi and mix well.

Step 10: Add fresh cream and mix well.

Step 11: Add paneer cubes and cook for just 3-4 minutes.

Step 12:  Turn off the gas and makhani sauce is ready.

Step 13: For assembling the sandwich take a bread slice and spread corn and veggies sauce.  

Step 14: Place another bread slice on it and press a little.   

Step 15: Spread the makhani sauce on this bread and cover it with another bread slice. 

Step 16: Spread butter on upper side.    

Step 17: Heat up a skillet on medium heat and transfer the sandwich on it in such a way that the buttered side should be on the skillet.   

Step 18: Roast the sandwich well until the lower side is nice, crispy.

Step 19: Turn the gas on very low heat and spread butter on upper side of the sandwich.

Step 20: Flip the sandwich over and roast it well form other side too. Turn the gas on medium heat. 

Step 21: Spread cheese, mixed herbs, chili flakes on upper side and cover the sandwich with a pot.

Step 22: Roast the sandwich well until it is roasted well from lower side and cheese melts for about 5 minutes.

Step 23: Remove the lid and turn off the gas.

Step 24: Triple layered sandwich is all ready.

Notes

  • Adding sugar is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
  • You can bake this sandwich in oven on 180 Deg C for about 10-15 minutes.

Servings

You can make triple layered sandwich in oven too. You can serve it as it is or with some sauce. It tastes just awesome and turns out crispy and crunchy. This is a healthy recipe.
