Healthy and Easy Wheat Flour Ladoo

Easy wheat flour ladoo is a healthy recipe. Though made from wheat flour these ladoos turn out nice crunchy. We will be adding a secret ingredient to make them crunchy. We are not making any syrup while making these ladoos. We are adding dry fruits to make it healthier. The edible gum added in these ladoo makes it healthier. We are advised to have edible gum or dink for tring bones. This is a very easy, simple and quick recipe. You can try this recipe at home.

Wheat flour ladoo is a healthy and tasty recipe. We are not making syrup in this recipe. So there are least chances of failing the recipe, These ladoos turn out nice, crunchy and not sticky. They look nice and taste just awesome. Addition of dry fruits and dink makes them healthier.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1 tsp Edible gum
  • 1/4 cup chopped Walnuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped Almonds
  • 1/4 cup chopped Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup Pohe / Flattened Rice
  • 1/2 cup grated dry Coconut
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  • Raisins
  • 3/4 up Jaggery / Gudh
  • Sliced Pistachios

Quick wheat flour ladoo

Instructions

Step 1: Heat up a pan on medium heat and add ghee.

Step 2: Add edible gum and fry it.

Step 3: When gum puffs up well add walnuts, almonds, cashew nuts, pohe and fry everything well together for about 3-4 minutes until pohe turns nice, crunchy.

Step 4: When pohe begin to turn crunchy add dry coconut and fry everything well together.

Step 5: Transfer the mixture into a bowl.

Step 6: In the same pan add ghee, wheat flour and fry well on medium heat for about 10-12 minutes.

Step 7: When wheat flour gets nice, even golden color add the mixture and mix well.

Step 8: Add cardamom powder and mix well.

Step 9: Let the mixture cool down.

Step 10: Add raisins and mix well.

Step 11: Add jaggery and mix well.

Step 12: You can roll the ladoos from this mixture too.

Step 13: Transfer the mixture into food processor and pulse it well.

Step 14: Transfer the mixture into a dish and add pistachios.

Step 15: Mix well and roll ladoos from it.

Step 16: Wheat flour ladoo are all ready.

Step 17: You can store these ladoos in an airtight container for about a month at room temperature.

Notes

  • You can fry raisins along with other dry fruits too.
  • You can blend pohe in mixture and use instead of all other dry fruits. But to make the ladoos healthier I have used the dry fruits.
  • You can add kharik powder if you want.
  • If you are using mixer then divide the mixture into 3 portions and pulse into mixer.
  • If you can’t roll ladoos then add a little ghee and mix well.

Easy wheat flour ladoos taste just awesome and are healthy. This is a very easy and simple recipe. You can skip the dry fruits. Blend poha in mixer and use it to make crunchy ladoos. These have shelf life of about a month.
