Ingredients

  • 4 tsp Cashew nuts
  • 3 tsp sesame seeds
  • 3 tomatoes pureed
  • 3 tsp oil
  • whole garam masala
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp kasoori methi
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • whipping cream for garnishing

Instructions

  • Soak cashew nuts in warm water for 30 mts. Mix cashew nuts and sesame seeds together in a blender and grind to make a smooth paste.
  • Make tomato puree of 3 tomatoes.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add whole garam masala and add tomato puree. Cook till moisture starts to evaporate from tomato puree and it becomes thick.
  • Add cashew and sesame seeds paste and cook for 2 mts.
  • Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook for 3 to 4 mts.
  • Add water, mix and cook for 5 mts.
  • Add paneer, green peas, salt, kasoori methi mix and cook for 5 mts.
  • Finally add some cream.

Notes

  • Cook tomato puree till the time oil separates otherwise raw smell of tomatoes will get absorbed in the curry.
  • To make tomato puree just chop tomatoes in to a quarters and add to blender and grind to make a smooth puree.
