Ingredients

  • 2 small Raw mangoes
  • Coriander leaves
  • 2~3 Garlic cloves
  • Curry leaves
  • 2 Dry red chilies
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 Green chilies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
  • A pinch of Hing
  • 1 tsp grated Gudh (Optional)
  • 1 tsp Oil

Instructions

  • Wash the mango really good and dry it out.
  • Cut the mango into small pieces.
  • You can peel the mango before cutting if you want.
  • Transfer the mango in a blender jar.
  • Add garlic cloves, green chilies, coriander leaves and salt.
  • Blend everything well in mixer.
  • Blend it dry first.
  • Add a little water to adjust the consistency and blend again.
  • Add gudh and blend again.
  • Adding godh is optional. You can add sugar in place of gudh.
  • Transfer the chutney into a bowl.
  • Heat up oil in a tadka pan.
  • Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing, curry leaves, dry red chilies and add this tadka on the chutney.
  • Raw mango chutney is already.
  • You can serve this as side dish with roti or fulka.
  • It goes well with rice too.
  • You can use this as sandwich spread or in wraps or in kathi rolls.
