  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • Vanilla essence
  • Few Melon seeds

Instructions

  • Take the cooker and add a layer of salt at the base of it.
  • You can use a pan or a big pot instead of cooker.

  • You also can make regular sponge cake from this batter.
  • Take the preheated cooker.
  • Open the lid and put a dish on the pot in the cooker.
  • Put the katoris on the dish.
  • Close the lid and bake on medium heat for about 20-25 minutes.
  • Turn off the gas and take the cooker off the gas.
  • Let the cake be in the closed cooker for 10 minutes more.
  • After 10 minutes, take the katoris out.
  • Loosen the edges of the cake well with the help of knife.
  • Take the cake out of katori and cupcake or wati cake is already.

Notes

  • If you are using aluminium cooker or pan or pot try to give a layer of baking soda as it will clean the base of the cooker. Just add hot water in the hoe cooker and boil it. It will make your aluminium cooker clean.
  • If you do not tap the cake tin and if air bubbles are left then in it, the cake gets pressed at the intervals when it cools down. To avoid that tap the cake tin well.
