Dates ladoo a.k.a. Khajoor ladoo is very healthy and delicious sweet made with wholesome dry nuts and goodness of dates. There’s no added sugar in this ladoo as it gets enough sweetness from dates. Super healthy for kids as well as for grown ups too.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted Dates / Khajoor
  • 1/4 cup Almonds
  • 1/4 cup Cashew Nuts
  • 2 tbsp Pistachios
  • 2 tbsp Walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder
  • 1 tsp Ghee

Instructions

  • Put a pan on a medium heat.
  • To that add almonds and dry roast for 2 to 3 mts.
  • Then add cashew nuts, pistachios, walnuts and dry roast until it gets deep golden color.
  • Now remove the nut on to separate dish and allow it to cool down.
  • Once all nuts cools down, put them in to blender jar.
  • Blend it coarsely. You want to see nice big chunks of nuts.
  • Chop dates roughly and put that in to a blender jar.
  • Blend to make that in to a paste.
  • Heat tsp of ghee in to a pan.
  • Add dates paste and cook for about 4 to 5 mts or until ghee is well abosrbed in to paste.
  • Now add in all roasted nuts, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and mix well.
  • Turn off the power and transfer mixture on to separate dish.
  • After the mixture cools down again knead it until everything comes together nicely.
  • Divide the mixture in to small golf size balls.
  • Roll them in to ladoo shape.
  • Store in an airtight container, it stays good up to a month!
