This is one of my favorite and health y recipe which I like very much. It is so easy to make but tastes just amazing. It needs very simple and basic ingredients which are easily available in your pantry.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coarse Sooji / Rava
  • 2 tbsp Rice Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt / curd
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup diced Green Pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced Onion
  • 1/4 cup shredded Carrot
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Take sooji into a bowl, to that add rice flour.
  • Also add yogurt/curd, salt, and mix well.
  • Now slowly add water to make that into a pouring consistency batter.
  • Add salt to taste and mix.
  • Add baking soda, mix well.
  • Now set the batter aside for 30 mts.
  • Now heat up dosa pan over medium heat.
  • Then add some oil over the pan and spread that around.
  • Add a ladle full of uttapa batter over pan and spread that around.
  • Top up uttapa with onion, green pepper, carrot, coriander leaves.
  • Also add spices of your choice.
  • Flip the uttapa once it gets deep golden color.
  • Roast from other side for 3 to 4 mts.
  • Serve hot with coconut Chutney, onion chutney, tomato chutney!
