Ingredients

  • 1 cup Soya Granules
  • 1 Beet root
  • 1 small Potato
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Garlic and Green chilli paste
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour (a.k.a. Corn starch)

Instructions

  • Cook soya granules as per packet instructions.
  • Peel potato, cut that in small pieces, put that in a microwave safe bowl, cover and cook in microwave for 3 to 4 mts.
  • Cut beetroot in small pieces, put diced beet in a microwave safe bowl, cover and cook for 3 to 4 mts.
  • Now put cooked soy granules, beet and potato in to blender pot or food processor.
  • Now season that up with coriander powder, cumin powder, garlic and green chilli paste, garam masala, red chilli powder.
  • Now blend everything together until it comes like a soft dough.
  • Now transfer the mixture on to separate dish.
  • Put some corn flour in the cutlet mixture.
  • Add lots of finely chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice and salt to taste.
  • Mix well.
  • Now divide the cutlet mixture in small golf size ball portion.
  • The roll that out and flatten it a bit.
  • Coat the cutlet well in bread crumbs.
  • Now shallow fry cutlet until it gets nice deep golden color.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce or mint chutney!
