Masala pav ia a very popular Indian street food. This is a very easy and quick recipe that can be made from very few ingredients. Masala pav is made by stuffing tomato onin based masala in the ladi pav that it little roasted in butter. It tastes just fabulous. Do try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients

  • 3~4 medium size finely chopped Onions
  • 2 finely chopped Tomatoes
  • Finely chopped Capsicum
  • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Pav bhaji masala
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • Butter
  • Ladi pav

Instructions

  • Heat up a skillet on medium heat.
  • Add butter and onion.
  • You can use oil instead of butter.
  • Mix well and fry onion until it gets nice golden color for about 3-4 minutes on medium heat.
  • When onion begins to turn soft add capsicum and mix well.
  • Fry on medium heat for about 5-6 minutes.
  • Add tomato and mix well.
  • Fry on medium heat for another 4-5 minutes until tomatoes are cooked and mashed well with the veggies.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, pav bhaji masala, red chili powder and salt to taste.
  • Mix well and add a little water.
  • Mash the masala well with masher and add coriander leaves.
  • Mix well and masala for masala pav is already.
  • Bring the masala to one side of the pan.
  • Take 2 ladi pav and cut it at the centre. Open up the ladi pav.
  • Add a little butter on the skillet and roast the pav a little on it.
  • When these are roasted from one side add a little butter again on the skillet and roast a little from other side as well.
  • When the pav is roasted from both sides spread the masala on the bread and close it to make a sandwich.
  • Spread a little masla on the bread too and masala pav is already.
  • Take it off the skillet and serve with finely chopped onion, finely chopped coriander and a slice of lemon.
