Ingredients

  • Liquid soap
  • Dish soap
  • Tooth brush
  • Wet cloth
  • Sharp pin or needle

Instructions

  • To begin with, turn off all the gas burners and let the stove cool down completely.
  • When the grates are cool, lift them from the stove. Take off the gas burners too.
  • Take hot water in a large tub and add dish liquid soap in it. Mix well to form foam.
  • Dip all the grates in hot water. Dip gas burners in the same water.
  • Soak the parts in hot water for at least an hour.
  • Apply dish soap to a small tooth brush and remove the stains by moving the brush around in small circular motion.
  • Clean it with a damp cloth.
  • As the burner plates of cooking hob are fixed, you can’t remove and clean them.
  • These are auto ignitable, be very careful while cleaning them.
  • For glass top, use a sponge. Dish soap is the best alternative for cleaning the hob.
  • Dip the soft side of the sponge in dish soap and clean it.
  • Again clean with damp cloth and wipe the glass top.
  • You also can use wet wipes.
  • Take the grate out of water.
  • Take a tooth brush and dip it in dish soap.
  • Clean the grate with tooth brush. Wash with water.
  • Take the burners.
  • Separate the parts and clean the bottom par with soap dipped tooth brush.
  • Burner is made up of brass. Rub a lemon on the burner and clean it.
  • Rinse the burner with water.
  • Let the burner dry on a clean towel.
  • When the burner is dry, take a sharp pin or needle and put it through tiny burner holes to clean out any residue.
  • To make this process smoother, repeat it at least twice a month.
